The Different World Volume 1 - Chapter 1(The Adventures in Stick world)

            I am just a normal kid in a normal world. My dad doesn't have a job at all. My mom left us for her job and never came back. I think she has a new family now. I always get bullied by a big kid named Josh. I am Diego. I am a curious 16-year-old. I always ask questions which drives everyone annoyed and they all hated me.

            When I was walking, I saw a "dig here" sign. I was curious. I found a shovel and started digging. I found such an amazing thing. It was shaped like a ball. It was still covered in soil I brought it home and showed it to my dad. At first, he was speechless. Then, after a minute or so, he looked at me and smiled. He asked,"Son, where did you get this?" He gave me back the "ball" and I started scraping off the soil. It was such an amazing thing. It glowed with might. It...it...talked! It said eat me in a shy little voice.I opened up my mouth. I was so curious in knowing what might happen next if I eat it. When I was about to eat it, I saw a box with a sign "stick world" in it. I didn't mind it at all. All I ever cared about is the glowing ball. I did eat but then... I saw a big flash of light. I saw a box containing a portal leading me to a new dimension.

            I fell in a thorny place. I got so shocked when I looked around. Everything was black and made out of sticks. Everything was just like a stick world...stick world?! That's the word I saw on he box before I ever came here! That must've caused all this. I wonder if I turned into a stick to. I probably would just ask a stick person, but I'm too afraid to ask. Soon, I went near a stick person and asked him,"Do I look like a stick?" He didn't answer me for he looked so worried and afraid. I did the same with everybody else, but still, they were still so worried and afraid. After about an hour or so, I heard a stick man shouting,"Everyone, Urazoo has returned?" Everyone looked so worried and afraid upon hearing that. This made me think of many more questions like,"Who is Urazoo?" , "What did Urazoo do to make the stick people so afraid of him?" I thought of asking those questions to the stick people, but I don't think they'll answer me, so I thought of answering those questions myself.

             I followed the guy who shouted. He also saw me following him, but I hid so  he didn't see me. He led me to a very high and spooky place. The gates were high and they were opened. The castle was high, about 1,000 feet high. Entering it felt like entering a nightmare. When I climbed the last steps of the stairs in the castle, I saw a big scary man. That guy was talking and bowing to him, so that guy must be his subject and he must be...Urazoo!When I looked at him, he saw me! He used his mighty stick to make thunder roar and everything spookier. He almost killed me and there was nothing else left to do but to jump off the castle with  1,000 feet. I did jump but then... I saw the portal which seemed familiar to me. It stopped me from dying. It brought me to a new dimension. I found myself on my bed. I was home! I thought to self that everything i just a dream. A nightmare to be exact.
